Legacy

Your George Williams founder YMCALegacy could be the start of something wonderful.

In 1844, George Williams left the greatest Legacy of all - the legacy of the YMCA.

Today, the YMCA serves the most disadvantaged young people in 100 locations through 35 local Associations stretching from Stornoway to Stranraer.

The lives of many of the young people we support have been torn apart by drugs and alcohol, abuse or homelessness. They often end up on the streets exposed to all the dangers of street life.

By leaving a legacy to YMCA Scotland in your Will you will be ensuring that young people's lives are not disfigured by disadvantage and that, with us, they can lift their aspirations and achieve their fullest potential.

Making a Will is the only way to ensure that the property and savings you have worked so hard to build up over the years go to the people you love, and the causes you support. After providing for family and friends, a donation to YMCA in your Will is a tremendous and thoughtful way of supporting disadvantaged young people in Scotland.

If you would like a copy of our Legacy Booklet or would like to find out more about leaving a Legacy to YMCA Scotland, please email Stuart Baillie.
